“Dropcore is a unique blend of rts/rpg and top down shooter that provides unparalleled gameplay experience. The gameplay of DropCore is intended to focus on the consequences of player action, level and ai will primarily react to your tactical choice, your playstyle significantly changes your gameplay experience. Whether you want to perform surgical strikes or go out guns blazing, the game adapts and provide interesting twists and rewards you for different playstyles.”

Developing the music for DropCore I straight away had the idea of an ambient like style for the quieter strategic moments in the game and Drum n Bass elements for the more intense action (hence the Construct / Destruct theme)

Delighted to have gotten the chance to paint the audio landscape to this world, I had so much fun delving in plus it meant I could re-explore some of my favourite artists and albums for inspiration. Brian Eno, Moby, the Mass Effect and FTL soundtracks for the Construct theme and for the Destruct theme I went back and listened to the dnb classics from Sub Focus, Bad Company, DJ Fresh and Concord Dawn. I hope you enjoy.
